1) Essence of Power:
Thrown into the midst of a new world, and new realm, Thomas tries to come to terms with it all in his new "home" in Japan, settled in the majestic Mt. Fiji. Upon returning home to his cabin, he find a man named Jackie Estacado who had got sidetracked from his trip to a place called Madripoor. The two of them see eye to eye for the most part, Thomas finding this Jackie to remind him much of himself. After which, Thomas sets out himself to finish his training in the moutains.
2) Light Through The Gloom:
While training in the mountains of Japan, Thomas feel a familar presence. He is approached by Zheig, a Wolf Chimera from his own realm. Things get a bit tense, but in the end, Thomas agrees to help Zheig along with their common goal.
